Introducing Kampfgruppe Knittel (KGK) Reenactment Society
We are a group of of people that aim to protray to the public the Living History of the german soldier in WWII, our aim is to combine our passion for military history and collecting WWII Militaria, into living history displays and battle re-enactments. To educate and entertain the public about the life of an Axis serviceman during the Second World War.
Kampfgruppe Knittel was founded in april 2006 to satisfy the demand for a quality german reenactment group in Ireland as there was a large untapped interest and extensive knowledge amongst the individuals and the formation of KGK was to become a focal point for those interested to gravitate together in a common purpose.
Kampfgruppe Knittel is made up from a representation from all the corners of Ireland membership ranges from belfast to cork and fermanagh to dublin ,newry and dundalk.
KGK is comprised of members who protray the 1st LAH Division Adolf Hitler, 12th HJ Division, and there is a ladies youth section as well as an allied representation comprising of the 2nd United States Ranger Division.
KGK has a common set of rules and constitution in accordance with all the other quality united Kingdom based german groups and all members are covered by Public Liability Insurance.
