Reenacting the Wehrmacht
We are a group of people that aim to portray to the public the Living History of the ordinary german soldier in WWII. Our aim is to, as accurately as we can, present for ourselves the image of the common Wehrmacht infantryman in the second world war.
We are aiming to portray the soldiers of the 980th Regiment of the 272nd Division, a unit with no history of warcrimes and which served with distinction in Normandy, the Battle of the Bulge, Huertgen forest and even the 'Bridge at Remagen'.
Whilst we endeavour to attain the highest possible standards of authenticity, we are doing this for the fun of it. And we hate officers ;)
We have common set of rules and constitution in accordance with all the other quality united Kingdom based german groups and all members are covered by Public Liability Insurance, insured with and members of AFRA.
We welcome new members. If you are already a member of a group and if you have a spare weekend and want to reenact with us just for a show that's fine too: come one, come all. All you need is a basic wehrmacht kit with the minimum of decorations and to have taken care of your insurance.
